Fitness

Everyone in one way or another is interested in fitness.

Who wouldn’t want to look good in public, keep up with their kids as they grow up, increase their lifespan to watch their grand children grow up.

Though quickly summed up there are 2 kinds of people in the world:

1. The people that act on their goals.

2. People who think about their goals…and that’s as far as they get.

So if you fit into category number 2 what can you do to get into category number 1, or how do you convince people from category 2 to 1?

This depends on:

NEED’s VS WANT’s

Need’s – the person want’s to be healthier and have a active lifestyle so they need to get into fitness.

Want’s – the person want’s to be healthier and have a active lifestyle but they want to sit on the couch and watch their favourite TV show.

So what is it going to take for the want’s to become a need?

  • A doctor telling you that you need to be more active?
  • Your partner telling you that they don’t find you attractive anymore?
  • You’re playing in the park with your kids and notice that you can’t keep up?
  • You go on a corporate get away on a trek and you’re the only one to pass out and have to be rushed to hospital because you can’t keep up?

My personal experience with fitness is a long one, I could be on one of those fad diet commercials with the before and after photos.

I used to way 140Kg’s which is 308 lbs. The least I got to was 85Kg’s which 187 lbs.

Now for someone that is 196cm’s or 6ft4′ that is a very light weight to be.

So how did I do it?

I’ll tell you what is wasn’t….it wasn’t a special supplement nor was it done in 8 weeks.

It was done with 2 years of researching, exercising, studying and trial and error.

Now I’m up to 95Kg’s which is 209 lbs with roughly 14% body fat.

I will post on the tips on what worked and what didn’t work, so if your wanting to improve your fitness or the way you look, if any of my posts leave you with questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me as I used to do, I could of probably achieved my goals quicker if I asked questions a lot earlier rather then later.

Let’s turn those WANT’s into NEED’s!!
